Passito di Massa Vecchia is produced from the La Querciola vineyard, a pure Aleatico blend.
Pedology:: galestro and palombino, scaly clays and calcareous marls – year of planting 1972 – 2222 vines per hectare – training system: spurred cordon – drying outdoors on penzane – red vinification in the presence of stems – conservation in small wood volume for 2/3 years.
The color is intense red, the nose has a great impact while in the mouth it is sweet but never cloying.
An excellent passito wine to pair with dry pastries and as a meditation wine.
