Fermentation in stainless steel, aging in wooden barrels for 24 months. On the nose aromas of ripe red fruits, refined balsamic aromas, rose petals, delicate spices, fine herbaceous spices, mint, super chic.
On the palate, a velvety start, crunchy tannins, present but harmonious acidity, there is nothing hard or angular, incredibly juicy and animated.
Of course, the wine is still young and can mature a little longer, two or three years, and until around 2040.
With the 2019 Barolo, Réva offers the continuation of the excellent introduction to the topic of Barolo.
As with the other Barolos, the five-week maceration took place in stainless steel tanks, the malolactic fermentation was 80% in wooden barrels and 20% in barrique, as was the expansion in 24 months.
The wooden barrels come from Austria from the Stockinger barrel factory, one of the most respected wooden barrel manufacturers in the world.
Réva was founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Miroslav Lekes, wine merchant and collector of prestigious wines.
In Slavic Réva means grape.
