Clear ruby red in colour, with beautiful liveliness; on the nose it is intense and persistent with notes of mulberry and cherry, plum and a spicy touch of black pepper.
Vinification: fermentation takes place without the addition of yeasts and lasts, including maceration, between 15 and 20 days.
It matures for a few months in steel. The taste is dry, warm tending towards soft thanks to the non-invasive tannins and a sustained and enveloping structure
In 1990 Edoardo and Carla arrived in Sovana to find a hectare of vineyard, a dilapidated house, 72 hectares of land abandoned for years. Things then evolved.
